Exciting Update!

Greetings foodies,

I just wanted to share the exciting news that I've decided to do a cookbook in 2011! This cookbook will be filled with lots of delicious whole food recipes. I'll need recipe testers so I'll keep everyone posted as progress is made.

Welcome to the Festive Food Three Way!

I know, sounds crazy but really, food three ways! Yep, take that same meal and I'll show you how to three way it (meaning make it three different ways). It's like the hidden treasure we all wish we had so no one really knows that we haven't slaved all day long in the kitchen making that three hour hand me down family recipe. The best part about it is you can have those same guests back at some point and make a different version of the same meal. It's like we're tricking our guests but NOT!
This is a photo of my Moroccan Chickpea Salad and the recipe. Serve with gazpacho soup and grilled rustic bread.
Is it wrong that food makes me this happy inside?
Rockin Moroccan
1 (15 ounce) can Organic garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
1/4 cup first cold pressed extra virgin olive oil
1/3 cup white wine vinegar
4 teaspoons Moroccan spice blend
1/2 cup black pitted olives
1/2 cup sweet pink grapefruit
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1 cucumber (medium) coarsely chopped and seeded
2 tablespoons mint leaves
Pink Himalayan salt to taste
pepper to taste
Stir it up and enjoy!
Mexi Style Madness
1 (15 ounce) can Organic garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
2 tablespoons roasted garlic flavored olive oil
3 Tbs fresh lime juice
1 small onion (chopped)
1/2 cup fresh cilantro torn into small bits
1/2 cup fresh Roma tomatoes (diced)
1 cup fresh or frozen Organic corn
1/2 teaspoon cumin
Pink Himalayan salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Stir it up and enjoy!
Greek Garbanzo Goodness
1 (15 oz) can Organic garbanzo beans
1/4 cup organic first cold pressed extra virgin olive oil
1 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/2 cup cucumber
1/2 cup Roma tomatoes (diced)
1/2 cup black pitted olives
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Pink Himalayan salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Stir it up and Enjoy!
